The Magellan 3410VSi OEM uses a high-performance megapixel sensor and custom optics to create a large reading area capable of reading at distances up to 20 cm and with 1D sweep speeds up to 1.5 m/s. Powerful decoding algorithms provide excellent performance on a variety of 1D and 2D labels, including hard-to-read, truncated, and damaged barcodes. The integrated window allows the 3410VSi OEM unit to be mounted directly against an enclosure surface for a streamlined, sealed installation. The electronics for the M3410VSi platform allow the OEM to power from a single 5V USB connection, eliminating the need for an external power supply and making installation ‘plug and play’. A configurable beeper and external read indicator signal on the host connection provide good-read feedback both to the user and to the point of sale.
